Fingerjointer with glue
The glue will be applied between the flanks from the fingers and replaces the tape. The additional charge for this investment repays itself in 2-3 years.
Advantages:
- no tape necessary
- differences in thickness will be caught
- colour stains don’t appear in the joint
- joint doesn’t open at profile wrapping
- temperature-resistant
- tape doesn’t need to be sanded away
- no pressmarks on joint anymore, as with tape joint
- possibility to feed two sheets of veneer at the same time = double production capacity
Existing machines for fixed lengths with standard cutting dies can be provided with a glue system.
